  2. Prepare 1 1/2 lb of beef tenderloin, thinly sliced.
  3. It’s 1/4 lb of portobello mushrooms, chunked.
  4. You need 1/2 of green bell pepper, chunked.
  5. Prepare 1/2 of red bell pepper, chunked.
  6. Prepare 1/2 of yellow onion, chunked.
  7. You need 1 of dried red chilli pepper.
  8. It’s 1/2 tsp of garlic, minced.
  9. It’s of Marinade.
  10. It’s 1 tbsp of soy sauce.
  11. You need 2 tbsp of sugar.
  12. You need 3 tbsp of oyster sauce.
  13. Prepare 2 tsp of sesame oil.
  14. It’s 4 tbsp of water.
  15. It’s of Kung Pao Sauce.
  16. You need 3 tbsp of soy sauce.
  17. It’s 1 tsp of hoisin sauce.
  18. You need 1 tsp of oyster sauce.
  19. It’s 1 tsp of ketchup.
  20. You need 2 tbsp of sugar.
  21. You need 1/2 tsp of granulated garlic.

Walk Charred Beef step by step

  1. Mix all ingredients for Marinade and set aside.
  2. Mix all ingredients for Kung Pao Sauce and set aside.
  3. Thinly slice beef filet and add marinade. Marinate for 1 hour.
  4. Heat sesame oil in a very hot wok. Cook peppers and onions.
  5. Remove the cooked peppers and onions from the wok and set aside.
  6. Add a little more sesame oil and cook mushrooms. When the mushrooms are half way through cooking add the garlic and dried chilli pepper.
  7. When the mushrooms are cooked return the peppers and onions, and add half of the Kung Pao Sauce. Remove vegetables from wok and set aside to keep warm.
  8. Working in batches cook the beef.
  9. When all the beef is cooked return it to the wok, and add the remaining half of the Kung Pao Sauce.
  10. Return the vegetables to the wok and heat everything through.
